From their very first drama class at age 5 to performing at the Everyman Cork as a teenager, children at Studio Wolfe Blarney grow in confidence, creativity and self-expression through drama every Tuesday. We’ve been teaching performing arts in Blarney for over 20 years at Blarney Golf Clubhouse, with five class levels from Wolfe Pups through to Senior Advanced Drama. Two shows every year, with experienced teachers and a minimum of two per class.

Wolfe Pups
A first introduction to drama through games, stories and creative play. Designed for Junior and Senior Infants with no experience needed. Children build confidence, imagination and social skills in a warm, playful setting.

Does my child need experience to start drama in Blarney?
Not at all. Wolfe Pups is designed for complete beginners — no previous drama experience is needed. Children are introduced to drama through games, stories and creative play in a warm, supportive environment.
Where exactly are drama classes in Blarney?
Drama classes take place at Blarney Golf Clubhouse, Tower, Blarney, Cork, T23 DK50. There’s free parking on site for easy drop-off and collection.
What if my child doesn’t like it?
We understand starting something new can be daunting. We offer a refund policy up to the third week of term — if your child decides the class isn’t for them after three sessions, we’ll refund the balance. Most children settle in within the first two or three weeks once they start making friends.
What day do drama classes run in Blarney?
Drama classes at Blarney run every Tuesday. Specific time slots for each class are published when enrolment opens each term.
What should my child wear?
Comfortable clothes are all your child needs — there’s no special costume required for drama classes.
How much do drama classes cost in Blarney?

Who teaches drama at Studio Wolfe Blarney?
Studio Wolfe was founded by Careen Wolfe, who holds a Master’s Degree in Dance and is a graduate of both University College Cork and the University of Limerick. She holds a Fellowship and Licentiate in Contemporary Modern Jazz with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), is fully qualified with the United Teachers of Dance (UTD), and holds her FDI with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). Every class has a minimum of two qualified teachers present.
Does Blarney offer dance classes too?
Yes — Studio Wolfe Blarney offers both dance and drama. Dance classes run on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for ages 3 to 18. You can also find us in Douglas and Donnybrook.
Do students get to perform?
Yes! Drama students perform in two shows per year — an in-house production for parents and families at the end of Term 1, and an end-of-year show at the Everyman Cork. Students get the experience of performing on a professional stage with real lighting and an audience.
