Senior Drama Classes — Studio Wolfe Cork
About This Class
Senior Drama Classes in Cork
Senior Drama at Studio Wolfe is a fun, creative drama class designed for secondary school students (1st–3rd year) who want to build confidence, make friends, and explore the world of theatre in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Whether students have previous drama experience or are joining for the first time, our classes focus on creativity, teamwork, and self-expression. Each week students take part in a mix of improvisation games, theatre exercises, and group performance work, all guided by experienced drama teachers and industry professionals.
What Happens in a Senior Drama Class?
Our classes are high-energy, social and collaborative, helping teenagers develop confidence while having fun with their peers. Students explore:
- Improvisation and theatre games
- Creating their own characters and scenes
- Script work and storytelling
- Team performance and ensemble skills
- Theatre styles and creative movement
A big focus is placed on improvisation and student-created work, giving teenagers the freedom to develop their own ideas and perform them with their classmates.
TheatreSports & Creative Performance
One of the highlights of the Senior Drama programme is TheatreSports-style improvisation, where students take part in fast-paced drama games that challenge creativity, quick thinking and teamwork.
Throughout the year we also host special teen drama events such as our "Freaky Friday" TheatreSports nights, where students come together for an evening of fun, improvisation and live performance games. These sessions are always a favourite with our drama students and help build strong friendships and a real sense of community within the group.
A Safe and Supportive Space for Teens
Senior Drama at Studio Wolfe is designed to be a positive and welcoming environment where teenagers can express themselves, try new ideas and build confidence. Our teachers create a space where students feel comfortable taking creative risks while developing important life skills such as:
- Confidence and communication
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Creativity and imagination
- Public speaking and presentation
Many students join simply for the fun and friendships, while others go on to perform in our theatre productions throughout the year.
