Junior Acting Classes in Cork
Junior Drama at Studio Wolfe is where young performers truly begin to find their voice. Designed for children in 1st to 3rd class, this programme builds confidence through performance games, role play and creative group activities in a structured, safe environment.
Each session is crafted to develop concentration, listening skills and the ability to cooperate and communicate with others. Students enjoy show and tell, performance games and imaginative exploration, all guided by experienced instructors who adapt the pace of each class to suit the group.

Every class is overseen by at least two adult professionals, ensuring a supportive atmosphere where children feel encouraged to participate and express themselves. Our gentle approach centres on humour and enjoyment, allowing students to explore at their own pace.

What age group is Junior Drama for?
Junior Drama is designed for children aged 7–9, typically in 1st to 3rd class. No prior drama experience is required — it's a natural progression from Wolfe Pups and a perfect first-time starting point.
What should my child wear to Junior Drama class?
Comfortable clothing is recommended — our drama classes involve plenty of movement, games and group activities. There's no formal uniform required for drama, but we do offer Studio Wolfe hoodies and t-shirts at our uniform shop dates.
How long is each Junior Drama class, and what's covered?
Each class runs for one hour, once a week during term. Classes build confidence through games, role play, improvisation, storytelling and group performance, developing clear speech, listening skills and creativity.

Yes — Junior Drama is a wonderful starting point for shy children. Our teachers are experienced at using games and group work to gently draw children out, helping them build confidence and feel at home on their feet. The studio is a safe, welcoming place for every child to be themselves and meet like-minded peers.
