Every class at Studio Wolfe is designed to give your child skills that go far beyond the studio. Our dancers have represented Ireland at the Dance World Cup and achieved outstanding results in IDTA examinations.

Real confidence

Children learn to perform, speak up and believe in themselves. Parents consistently tell us their child’s confidence transformed within weeks of starting kids dance classes.

“Our daughter Aoife started Little Stars when she was three and it was the best decision we’ve made. She was so shy at first — she wouldn’t even let go of my hand. After a few weeks she was running in the door. Now she’s in Junior Level 1 and talks about her dance friends all week. Her confidence has completely transformed.”

Common questions about kids dance classes in Cork

What age can my child start dance classes?

Children can start dance at Studio Wolfe from age 3 with our Little Stars programme. Little Stars is a gentle introduction to rhythm, coordination and creative movement — no experience needed. From there, children progress through Junior Level 1 (ages 5–6), Junior Level 2 (ages 7–9) and Intermediate (ages 10–12).

Where are Studio Wolfe's dance studios?

Studio Wolfe has three locations across Cork: Douglas (Unit 2a Dosco Business Park, South Douglas Rd, T12 X370 — our headquarters), Donnybrook (Donnybrook Commercial Park) and Blarney (Blarney GAA Hall). All three locations offer kids dance classes for ages 3 to 12.

What if my child doesn't like it?

We understand starting something new can be daunting. We offer a refund policy up to the third week of term — if your child decides the class isn’t for them after three sessions, we’ll refund the balance. Most children settle in within the first two or three weeks once they start making friends.

How much do kids dance classes cost?

Kids dance classes at Studio Wolfe start from €155 per term. There are two terms per year, each with 15 weeks of classes. Visit our enrolment page for current pricing and availability.

What should my child wear to dance class?

For their first few classes, comfortable clothes are perfect — leggings, a t-shirt, bare feet or ballet shoes. We recommend attending a few classes before purchasing the Studio Wolfe uniform. Uniform details are shared via the Studio Wolfe App.

Who teaches at Studio Wolfe?

Studio Wolfe was founded by Careen Wolfe, who holds a Master’s Degree in Dance and is a graduate of both University College Cork and the University of Limerick. She holds a Fellowship and Licentiate in Contemporary Modern Jazz with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), is fully qualified with the United Teachers of Dance (UTD), and holds her FDI with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). Every class has a minimum of two qualified teachers present.
